Wildlife
Dinokeng Game Reserve is home to an extraordinary variety of African wildlife. The Big Five—lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo and leopard—roam alongside jackal, hyena, cheetah, giraffe, zebra and numerous antelope species. The reserve’s abundance and diversity make every sighting a memorable experience.
Birdlife
The Dinokeng area is a birdwatcher’s paradise, offering opportunities to see an exceptional range of species. It also holds the Gauteng record for the most bird species recorded within a 24-hour period.
Best Times for Game Drives
Our game drives take place early in the morning or late in the afternoon, when wildlife is most active and sightings are more likely. Although no sighting can be guaranteed, each drive offers the chance to experience an unforgettable African sunrise or sunset.
Private Game Drives
We are also happy to arrange a private game drive on request. Please note that private drives should be arranged in advance depending on availability.
